Hello Ottawa!
July has been a hot month in the Ottawa valley, we can tell from the brown grass, hard packed soil and high electricity bills
We have been busy working clients that have been very excited about selling their homes and assisting buyers find the right home for them. July has been a very active month and we anticipate this August to be still very active. Team members have been trying to grab some family and holiday time in the valley, especially near the lakes and rivers that surround Ottawa. Living in Capital has its perks as there’s so much to do here in the summer. My favorite place during a warm summer is hitting the lakes for some swimming, fishing and biking on the multiple bike paths here in Ottawa.
There are strong signs that the Ottawa market is still as hot as it was in March and April. June 2018 has shown a substantial increase in activity and pricing. I assume that there will be continued growth as lack of product for buyers is really affecting the Ottawa market. We are still seeing many multiple offers on market priced homes within an affordable range, typically ranging between $200,000 and $800,000.
Whether you are a buyer or a seller, this time of year is still very good to buy or sell. There are fewer active buyers to compete with and there is still a lack of listings here in Ottawa.

With the implementation of new electronic signing platforms, we are helping our clients in being more efficient as well as use less paper. It will also streamline our business efficiency.
