Homes

The Golden Triangle is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Ottawa and is named for its shape which comes to a point where the Rideau Canal and Elgin Street meet. Most of the Golden Triangle homes were built between 1890 and 1930 with a large number of attached homes added in the 1980-90s. Detached homes range in price from $400K-$1.1Mill+ while attached homes vary from $370K-$850K.

Recreation

Although this community is small, there is a variety of recreational activities for residents which focus around the Rideau Canal bordering the neighbourhood. With scenic pathways for walkers, joggers, and cyclists in the warmer weather as well as boating, the Canal also offers ice skating venues in the winter.

The popular annual Winterlude festival boasts musical entertainment, food vendors, an ice sculpture competition, and many activities for families. Several parks are also located in the neighbourhood as well as a recreation centre with a pool and a range of activities and courses for residents of all ages.
