Old Ottawa South is also famous for its selection of antique shops and the Ottawa Antique Market is a favourite destination with over 25 professional antique dealers sharing 10,000 sqft of space.

Schools and Churches

Carleton University is the area’s biggest academic institution for higher learning while younger students will benefit from the area’s high-quality schools including the Westboro Academy Private Elementary School, the independent learning Astolot Education Centre, and the Hopewell Avenue Public School.

Churches in Old Ottawa South include the Trinity Anglican Church, Southminster United Church, and Sunnyside Wesleyan Church.
