This well-established neighbourhood was built after the Second World War and is filled with mature tree-lined streets surrounded by plenty of green spaces. Detached homes are more affordable than the neighbouring Rockcliffe Park and range from $425K-$1.5Mill+, while attached homes are approximately $425K-$475K.

Recreation

The close-knit community hosts several family friendly events each year. In September, Rock the Block gives neighbours a chance to get together and enjoy live music, games and exhibitions for children, and food sold by local restaurants with an outdoor movie ending the evening’s festivities. In addition, the Manor Park Community Council is very active and offers numerous recreational programs including a skating party, chili cook-off, movie nights, and holiday events, among others. The neighbourhood also features hiking and cycling paths, sports fields, children’s play structures, a splash pad, and parks.

Shopping and Dining

There are a variety of shops and restaurants near Manor Park for the convenience of the residents, as well as grocery stores and a pharmacy. Beechwood Avenue is also a short walk away with its plethora of shopping and dining options. In addition, the St. Laurent Shopping Centre is a short drive down St. Laurent Boulevard. The area is also in proximity to the downtown core where shopping, dining, and nightlife is abundant.

Schools and Churches

Great schools are located in Manor Park and include the Canada Police College and the Manor Park Public School. St. Columba Anglican Church in Ottawa is the area’s local church.
