South Keys/Hunt Club is a quiet and picturesque neighbourhood in the south of Ottawa with a diversity of residents and housing options evenly split between detached and attached homes. The area was primarily developed in between 1980 and 2010 and detached single-family houses range in price from $300K-$1Mill+ with attached homes varying from $265K-$375K.

Recreation

The South Keys/Hunt Club neighbourhood has an active community association which bring neighbours together at annual events including a Fall and Winter Festival, Canada Day bike parade, a Spring Give Away Weekend, outdoor movie nights, and many others.

The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, which has been in operation since 1907, is one of the area’s oldest private clubs and is the namesake of the Hunt Club neighbourhood. It offers golf and curling programs as well as a gorgeous clubhouse surrounded by lush landscapes for private events and receptions.

Basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds and splash pads, sports fields, swimming pools, and outdoor ice skating rinks and hills for tobogganing are also located in the community.

Shopping and Dining

The South Keys Shopping Centre is where residents can find the many stores and services they require for their daily shopping needs. A Walmart, Chapters, Loblaws grocery store, Winners, HomeSense, numerous fashion retailers, home décor stores, banks, and much more can be found in the area as well as a Cineplex Odeon movie theatre. Several restaurants are also located in the shopping district and in and around the neighbourhood.

Schools and Churches

Parents will appreciate the great schools located in the neighbourhood which includes the Bayview Public School, Blossom Park Public School, Dunlop Public School, and Elizabeth Park Public School.

Churches in the area include the Church of Perfect Liberty, Emmanuel Apostolic Church, and Our Lady of the Airways Chapel.
