Named for a lighthouse in the Ottawa River that could be seen from the area, Beacon Hill South/Pineview is a close-knit community with houses built in between 1950-1970. There is a mix of homes in the area with detached homes ranging from $275K-$540K and attached homes from $255K-$525K.

Recreation

Beacon Hill South/Pineview has a wide variety of recreational activities for young and old alike. Pine View Municipal Golf Course is located nearby for golf aficionados and the neighbourhood is also home to the Gloucester Splash Wave Pool, one of the few wave pools in Ottawa. Gloucester Centre is also within close proximity offering numerous options for shopping, restaurants, and services including a Walmart, Loblaws, Chapters, as well as a Cineplex Theatre. The St. Laurent Shopping Centre is a short drive away and features 195 stores to satisfy your every shopping desire from big box retailers to brand name stores and speciality shops.

Schools and Churches

There are many well-known schools in Beacon Hills South/Pineview both Gloucester High School and Lester B. Pearson High School being the most noteworthy with highly rated gifted and language studies programs as well as innovative high-tech programs. Churches in the area include Bill Prankard Evangelistic Association and Pine Grove Bible Church.
